First thing’s first: we need to talk and find some direction. I have to ask some questions, and I am sure you have some for me. What are you hoping for? What do I need from you to make that happen? We will cover all of that right away in this first step.
A great storyteller knows how to captivate and engage, and that is what your online presence must do consistently: it must Captivate and Engage!
Your brand is how you captivate. Color choice, logo design, and a host of other factors that say, “Stop and look at me! I am trustworthy. I am worth more your time.
We also see what branding material you currently have, and if it is doing its job we work to seamlessly incorporate it into our work. If it needs improvement, or a complete overhaul, we can do that too.
Words are the key to engagement. When a website says the word “You”, it had better be talking to the right “You”. We figure out the story best communicates with your ideal and existing customer base in key bullet points.
PDM is here to help, and the six steps cover how we do it. If we get to the end of the first step and it doesn’t seem like it is what is best for you, we won’t charge a thing. After that, each step will have it’s own individual cost built into the contract we hand you. No guess work and after each step you are still free to move on if you are not happy.
Now we move on to the look and the structure of your site. These two elements are crucial and it is important that they are seamless, hence the reason they go together.
We took the time to find about your goals, your mission and your customers. Now we move forward and develop a design that we believe will inspire trust while captivating their senses.
We work on the overall structure of your site so it is made from the ground up to work on every platform and every device (from the Times Square Jumbotron to the smallest mobile device!). We also make sure that everything is accessible to the disabled, which entails proper tagging, contrast ratios and a host of other criteria.
We take the key bullet points we agreed upon in the discovery phase and help to craft the right wording to fit the design and tell the right story.
Available options will be discussed. The final design will be decided before your website is built.
After the design, your site will be built on the WordPress platform, an open source system known for its ease of use and stability.
We code the site in a way that uses the latest versions of web technology (HTML5, PHP5 and CSS3) and tailor it to the Schema.org standards which allows the 3 major search engines the maximum amount of access to the meaning behind the structured data and then can find your organization quicker and more accurately when searching. We also take certain keywords that have come up during previous phases and make sure that they are easily available to the search engines.
